* Above items are based on IEEE standard 450 for maintaining
battery systems |
|
|
** All items above focus on verification of Battery System
Uniformity. These tests are not executed to determine battery
capacity however, can be used as a health measure to determine
confidence levels that the battery will perform per
manufacturers current discharge ratings. |
|
*** Capacity testing should not be run unless the batteries'
operation is questionable. Batteries should not be discharged
beyond the specified final voltage. Load testing or capacity
tests are considered a cycle on the battery. Cycling of a
battery will shorten the life of the battery. |
